Worked example

Example: concrete for a 6 x 4 m shed slab at 100 mm

  1. Upload the plan PDF and confirm the scale at 1:100.
  2. Trace the slab with the Area tool: 24 m².
  3. Multiply by 0.1 m depth: 2.4 m³.
  4. Add 5 to 10 percent for spillage and uneven ground: order about 2.6 m³.

About 2.6 m³ of concrete for a 6 x 4 m slab at 100 mm, including allowance.
