How to draw freehand on a plan

Use Pencil to draw freehand on the plan: circle an issue, sketch a change or add your initials by hand. Pick a colour and line thickness first. Pencil marks print and export with the plan unless you hide them.
Step by step
- 1Choose Pencil in the tool list.
- 2Pick a colour and line thickness.
- 3Draw on the plan the way you would with a pen.
Tips
- Use a different colour for each kind of mark so they are easy to tell apart.
- Hand-drawn initials are a mark on the plan, not a certified electronic signature.
- Pencil marks never change your measurements.
