MetreMate ("we", "us", and "our") is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices available to website visitors, leads, and product users.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, company or trade role, enquiry details, account information, marketing attribution data, and limited technical information such as browser type, device type, and approximate analytics data.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide access to the MetreMate product, support customer relationships, improve the website and app, understand campaign performance, and send updates you have asked to receive.

Calculator results by email

If you use "Email this" on one of our calculators, we send the results through our email provider, Resend. We record your email address, which calculator you used, and whether you ticked the box to receive MetreMate tips and product updates, with the wording you agreed to. We only send you marketing if you ticked that box, and you can unsubscribe at any time. If you send results to someone else, we use their address once to deliver that email, show them your address so they know who sent it, and do not store their address or add them to any list.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies required for website functionality and optional analytics or marketing cookies only after consent has been provided through the cookie banner. You can update your choice at any time by clearing browser storage and revisiting the site.

Data sharing

We may use specialist service providers for hosting, analytics, customer communication, and form processing. Those providers only receive the information needed to perform their service and are expected to protect it appropriately.

Retention and security
