Can I get into a project from the Dashboard?

Yes. Each recent project has a card you can open straight into the job, and All Projects is one click away in the quick actions.

Can I start a new job from the Dashboard?

Yes. Use New Project in the quick actions to create a project and upload your PDF plan, then start measuring.

Is the Dashboard on the free plan?

Yes. Every plan has the Dashboard, including Free. The paid plans raise the limits on projects, plans and markups, so your counts can keep growing.

Is it useful if I only have a few jobs?

Yes. Even with a handful of jobs it saves you digging through folders, because the project you were working on sits right on the first screen.

Where do I see everything, not just recent projects?

Go to All Projects from the quick actions or the Projects menu to see every project in your workspace.

Does it replace my folders of PDF plans?

For measuring, yes. Upload each plan into a project once and it lives in MetreMate from then on, so the Dashboard becomes where you start instead of a folder on your desktop.

Can I check my projects away from the office?

Yes. MetreMate runs in any modern browser on any computer, Windows or Mac, with nothing to install, so your Dashboard is wherever you log in.
