Finding your way around the editor

The editor is where you measure and mark up a plan. Tools sit in a list on the left. The top bar handles pages, zoom, scale and rotation. The toolbar holds export, undo, color and line style. Layers open from the right.

The main areas

  1. 1Tool list (left): Measure, Area, Perimeter, Line, Text, Fill, Count, Angle, Arc, Pencil, Polygon Fill, Rotate and Select. The tool you are using is highlighted.
  2. 2Top bar: Back to your project, the page switcher for multi-page plans, Zoom, the sheet's Scale and Rotate.
  3. 3Toolbar: Export, Copy, Cut, Paste, Undo and Redo, plus Fill color and Line Style for the selected mark-up.
  4. 4Text options: font, size, bold, italic, underline and text color.
  5. 5Units: switch between metric and imperial.
  6. 6Right side: Rotate, Group and Layers, which opens the layers panel.

Tips

  • Fill sets the color and opacity of a shape. Line Style sets line thickness, dashes and color.
  • Use the page switcher to move between sheets in the same PDF without leaving the editor.
  • Light and dark mode are in your account settings.
